    Khaitan & Co. promotes 49 lawyers to leadership

    Firm strengthens leadership with new partners and counsel, highlighting talent growth and long-term vision.

    Khaitan & Company, the Indian law firm, has promoted 49 of its members to senior roles. Out of these, 17 have become Partners and 32 have been named Counsel. The firm explained that the move reflects its commitment to recognising talent and building strong leadership for the future.

    Haigreve Khaitan, senior partner noted that the newly promoted group represents the firm’s values of excellence, client focus, and resilience. He emphasised that their past achievements and future responsibilities will include guiding teams, mentoring colleagues, and strengthening client relationships.

    Amar Sinhji, executive director of human resources, highlighted that the promotions show both the depth of talent within the firm and the strength of its culture. He pointed out that Khaitan & Co values merit and provides clear opportunities for growth, while continuing to support its long-term vision.

    With these changes, the firm’s leadership team has grown to 349 members. The expansion underlines Khaitan & Co’s increasing expertise across different practice areas. At a time of rapid global change, the firm believes it is well placed to offer clients flexible and specialised advice to help them succeed in today’s challenging business environment.
