The National HRD Network (NHRDN) has announced that Dhananjay Singh, director general, NHRDN has moved on from his role, while Nidhi Vashishth has been appointed executive director.
Vashishth’s tryst with HR started way back in 2000 when she began as a humble HR executive with Compucom Software. She became an assistant professor at Apex University and went on to serve in a similar capacity at Jai Narain Vyas University.
She was associated with NIS Sparta as training effectiveness consultant for almost three years before she joined TV Rao Learning Systems as HRD consultant in 2007. After serving as consultant director at the Institute of Rural Management for a while she remained self-employed for over three years running her own HRD and OD interventions consultancy.
November of 2013 saw her play chairperson-MDP training and consultancy and associate professor HR and OB at Jaipuria Institute of Management.
The year 2019 was witness to Vashishth relocating from Rajasthan to Gujarat. She was associated with the Academy of HRD, Ahmedabad as chairperson-MDP training and consulting. Less than a year into this role, she was elevated to director. After a successful four-year tenure at the Academy, she moved to Dakshta Consultants as principal consultant.
Nidhi Vashishth will now be taking on the role of executive director, NHRDN. She will be tasked with leading the National Secretariat and working in tandem with the Board, Chapter leadership and the NHRDN community.
Meanwhile, Dhananjay Singh, director general, NHRDN, will be moving on to the next chapter of his career after a long and successful 15- year association.
He played executive director-NHRDN from 2011 to 2017 before being elevated to director general in February of 2017.
Armed with an MBA, Singh went on to become an Accredited Management Teacher (AMT), from All India Management Association (AIMA).
His association with AIMA began in August of 2000 as a management trainee. Very soon, he rose to junior manager, then assistant manager, and by the time he moved on from AIMA in 2011, he had reached the position of manager.
The National HRD Network expressed gratitude to Singh for his contribution over the years even while welcoming Nidhi Vashishth as the executive director.
