Sanyukt Gholap has been appointed as Novotel Pune’s new director of talent and culture. Novotel Pune is one of the finest hotels in the city where business meets pleasure with state of the art facilities.
Gholap has over 12 years of experience of HR functions and has been part of many Indian and international hospitality brands.
Gholap worked as a GSA at Trident Hotels in 2008 and 2009. She began her career as an HR executive at Spree Hospitality before becoming an assistant manager of HR at Quality Inn and Suites. Gholap also worked at Panoramic Universal Limited as an HR assistant. She also worked for almost 2 years as the Human Resources Manager at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc.
Before joining Novotel Pune, she was working at Marriott International as a human resources manager. She has been with Marriott for 5 years and 7 months.
Prior to becoming the director of talent and culture, Gholap had eight months experience working as a talent and culture manager at Accor Hotels, where she was responsible for the HR functions at the hotel.
Gholap holds a degree in Master of Business Administration (MBA), HR, and IR from Savitribai Phule Pune University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel Management.
She also has an in-depth knowledge of developing organizational strategies by identifying and researching human resource issues and establishing human resource objectives in line with organizational objectives.
In her new role Gholap will be responsible for developing and managing annual budgets for her divisions, conducting periodic cost and productivity analyses, preparing HR SOPs and P&Ps, and preparing and closing union wage agreements and MOS in her current position at Novotel Pune.
