Jitesh Bawa has joined Tata AIG General Insurance Company limited as the senior vice president of HR from September, 2019.
Prior to working at Tata, he headed the strategic hiring group at Edelweiss General Insurance Company limited as the CHRO for a period of more than two years at Mumbai.
He began his career as manager – HR at Gati limited way back in 1996 where he spent a period of more than four and a half years before moving on to Reliance General Insurance as deputy manager of HR.
Bawa spent his longest tenure at ICICI Lombard as the vice president of HR for a period of more than eleven years before shifting to Induslnd Bank as the SVP and HR business partner, consumer banking. He spent more than two years at Induslnd prior to joining Edelweiss.
Bawa has a BSc. in mathematics from Delhi University and a master’s degree in human resources from Bharati Vidyapeeth.
