    TVS Motors appoints Pallavi Shastri as VP – HR

    Pallavi Shastri is the new vice president – HR at TVS Motors. The Company announced this appointment over a social-media post. In this role, Shastri will be responsible for leading the HR function at the Company, covering areas such as talent attraction, onboarding, wellbeing & engagement, skilling and many more. She will also lead the diversity and inclusion agenda at the firm. Prior to this, Shastri was the director – HR at Eli Lilly, leading the HR function at the Eli Lilly Capability Centre in India.

    In her two decades of professional experience, she has handled a wide range of employees and related functions in the manufacturing as well as the non-manufacturing sectors. She has gained valuable experience in the areas of talent assessment and review, policies and practices, compensation and benefits, performance management and employee-development instruments.

    Having spent a large portion of her career at Bosch India, serving in various HR and other management roles, in the initial phase of her career, Shastri was majorly involved in business planning, budgeting and investment planning at the commercial plants of Bosch. In 2006, she stepped into the role of deputy general manager – HR, where she was responsible for talent management, leadership development, compensation and campus hiring at Bosch India. Shastri’s last-held position in her almost two-decade long stint at Bosch, was that of general manager – HR, handling HR operations at the country level for the Company.

    After Bosch India, this postgraduate diploma holder in HR, from the Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning, served a very small stint of less than a year at Eli Lilly.
