After a successful eight-year long stint with Genpact, Vijayalakshmi R has joined Trianz, the IT service management and digital transformation company, as chief human capital officer.
An alumna of XLRI Jamshedpur, Vijayalakshmi is a business-focused HR professional with over 15 years of experience.
In the initial years of her career, she spent three years at GECIS as human resource manager. In 2004, she moved to Clinical Systems, GE Healthcare, as head – HR, South Asia.
Three years later, in 2007, she moved to Goldman Sachs Services as vice president. For the next six years, she successfully led human capital management for the federation divisions, Bangalore, and was the lead business partner for the technology division. She also headed employee relations for India and was the employee relations advisor for the revenue divisions. She actively contributed to the diversity efforts at the company, leading the Womens’ Network for Goldman Sachs India for over four years.
It was in 2014 that she moved to Genpact, as vice president – HR and training leader for industrial, manufacturing and services vertical, based out of Hyderabad. Five years into this role, she was elevated to global talent match leader, based out of Bengaluru. By 2021, she had risen to the position of senior vice president.
Her experience in collaborating and advising senior management on their people strategies, to fulfil their ever changing business needs, will definitely prove to be an asset in her new assignment at Trianz. HRKatha wishes her all the best!
