The partnership will help Sodexo bring cutting-edge technology solutions developed by Zeta to offer a range of integrated employee benefits to its corporate clients.

Sodexo, the meal vouchers and business gifting solutions company, has joined hands with Zeta, which offers digital employee benefits for tax optimisation. Disrupting the employee benefits space with plans to create a unified platform that offers a bouquet of digital employee benefits, the two companies will leverage on each other’s strengths.

The partnership will help Sodexo to bring cutting-edge technology solutions developed by Zeta to offer a range of integrated employee benefits to all its corporate clients. With this alliance, Sodexo’s three million daily consumers will get access to simple and user-friendly technology solutions. Zeta, on the other hand, will get access to Sodexo’s expertise in the B2B domain of sales and fine customer service.

Stephane Michelin, CEO, Sodexo BRS India, says, “Through this formidable partnership, CHROs can look forward to unmatched convenience and the benchmark in the Employee Benefits space for trust, expertise and innovative technology.”

Sodexo has been the trusted partner for more than 11,000 clients in India for 20 years and Zeta has some of the leading technology solutions.

Sodexo Benefits and Rewards globally has 60 per cent of its business volume managed digitally and uses latest technology to deliver world-class services. In India, the brand embarked on the digital journey in 2015.

At the same time, Zeta has been disrupting the meal voucher industry by leveraging technology to ease the process of issuing, receiving and spending the Prepaid Instrument for meals and other employee benefits. With its solutions, Zeta has been enabling a tax saving of up to Rs 80,000 per employee per year.

Bhavin Turakhia, co-founder and CEO, Zeta shares that within a short span of two years, Zeta has accumulated a client base of more than 800 corporates spread across India and has more than 100,000 end users. “In partnership with Sodexo, we can reach a larger number of clients and customers, faster and help them benefit from the savings and simplicity our technology can offer,” he says.

In conversation with HRKatha, Suvodeep Das, vice-president, marketing, Sodexo, shares that it is the trust that clients place in Sodexo’s solutions and its B2B expertise that along with Zeta’s advanced technology solutions will help create a holistic suite of solutions for users.

He adds, “We have a wide range of solutions globally and with this partnership, we will certainly extend our fleet of solutions backed by technology powered by Zeta.” In line with this, Das shares that the new solutions could be into the wellness space.

Sodexo has been present in India for 20 years now and is a benchmark for tax compliance in meal benefits for employees across medium and large corporates. The partnership with Zeta will help the company go-to-market faster with other employee benefit solutions from its global portfolio. Together, Sodexo and Zeta aim to cater to the fast-changing corporate world and its needs by offering, managing and delivering quality of life services to both clients and consumers.
