As per the government, the donation of 15000 de-bonded computers by Infosys will almost end the shortage of computers at Government Diploma, Polytechnic and Engineering colleges of the state.

The government has said that this MoU will benefit close to five lakh students and faculty members at higher education institutes.

To start with, 200 teachers will be soon trained at Infosys’ Mysuru campus.

Infosys Springboard is a digital learning platform built at the cost of Rs 35 crore, and enables one to build digital skills and life skills in an individual. The platform includes virtual labs and gamifications features with other capabilities which enables it to fill the skill gap between the industry requirements and students.

The MoU was signed on Thursday at Vidhana Soudha in presence of state Higher Education Minister CN Ashwatha Narayana. DTCE has signed the MoU under its ‘Help Educate’ initiative.
