UGRO Capital, a leading MSME financier, welcomes the veteran human resources leader Rajni Khurana back as its chief people officer (CPO). Khurana’s return underscores her unwavering commitment to both empowering the MSME ecosystem and propelling UGRO Capital’s innovative growth trajectory.

Prior to rejoining UGRO Capital, Khurana served as executive director and head-human resources at IndoSpace, an industrial park and warehouse developer. Her extensive experience spanning over two decades in global human resources positions her well for this pivotal role. Notably, she played a key role in UGRO Capital’s early days, instrumental in scaling up the people function, shaping the company culture, and establishing robust values and policy frameworks.

With a proven track record of fostering meritocratic cultures, driving cross-functional collaboration, and building non-hierarchical environments, Khurana will spearhead initiatives to enhance UGRO Capital’s talent, rewards, and recognition programs.

“We are delighted to welcome Rajni back to UGRO Capital,” said founder and managing director Shachindra Nath. “As a founding member who shares our passion, Rajni’s leadership will be instrumental in shaping the next chapter of our growth. Her deep understanding of human capital and exceptional expertise will be invaluable as we build the largest Small Business Financing Institution.”

Khurana echoed the enthusiasm, describing her return as “coming back home.” “I am excited to contribute to UGRO Capital’s inspiring and challenging journey,” she added. “Together, we will empower small businesses and fuel economic growth across India.”
