    Pilgrim gets Shreya Kejriwal as VP-HR

    Pilgrim, a beauty and personal care brand, has named Shreya Kejriwal as its new vice president- human resources, effective January 2024. In this new assignment, Kejriwal will implement all strategic HR initiatives to help the company’s expansion while nurturing a culture of inclusivity and excellence.

    Prior to joining Pilgrim, Kejriwal held the position of general manager-HR, Godrej Group. She joined the company in the year 2021 and held the role for a year. She led talent-acquisition efforts across five distinct business units within the Godrej Group: Godrej Consumer Products, Godrej Agrovet, Godrej Properties, Godrej Fund Management, and Godrej Chemicals.

    With a wealth of experience spanning over ten years in HR leadership roles across FMCG and technology sectors, she has previously served at companies including Media.net, JUMO and Nestle. Her early career included stints at ITC, Aon Hewitt, HUL and DE Shaw & Co.

    Her longest stint was with Nestle, where she spent over four years. She joined in the year in 2015 as its human resource business partner. After three years, in 2018, she then led the company’s Global Project Team, playing a key role in establishing the local Shared Services arm for a global business vertical. She was instrumental in defining comprehensive people strategies tailored to the specific needs of Nestle’s South Asia Region.

    With a vision of fostering a ‘Service Orientation’ and ‘Total Service Quality’ mindset, she implemented initiatives aimed at ingraining these values within the organisational ethos. After six months, she was elevated to the role of HR transformational lead and change manager for the South Asia region.

    Kejriwal holds an MBA degree in HR and personnel administration from SCMHRD Pune, complemented by a BBA degree in finance from Jadavpur University.

    Her areas of expertise encompass organisation design and effectiveness, total rewards, talent management, talent acquisition, performance management, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), leadership development, employee relations, as well as transformation and change management.
