Progress Software has expanded its presence in India by opening a new office at Embassy Tech Village in Bengaluru. The software company empowers organisations to achieve transformational success in the face of disruptive change.
The move strengthens its India Global Capability Centre and highlights the company’s long-term commitment to India’s technology talent.
The new facility is designed to boost collaboration, speed up AI-led innovation, and support future growth. Progress Software sees India as a key pillar of its global strategy, with teams here working across engineering, product development, sales, customer success, marketing, and operations.
India operations have steadily grown, with offices in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and New Delhi. Nearly a quarter of the workforce in India supports global sales, customer support, and marketing, serving clients worldwide. This expansion underlines the importance of India’s role in building AI-powered products and modern digital infrastructure.
The Bengaluru hub will also help Progress scale up employment opportunities in technology and customer-facing roles. By investing in India’s talent pool, the company aims to deliver faster innovation and greater value to its global customers.
Beyond business, Progress is partnering with The Bodhi Tree Foundation to support local communities. As part of this initiative, the company has donated electric wheelchairs to those in need, reflecting its commitment to social impact alongside workforce growth.
With this expansion, Progress Software is reinforcing its confidence in India’s tech ecosystem, creating more opportunities for skilled professionals, and strengthening its role in shaping AI-driven digital experiences worldwide.
