    S&P Global expands in Gurugram

    New hub adds thousands of jobs and strengthens India’s role in global operations

    S&P Global has opened a new office in Downtown Gurugram, marking a major expansion of its India operations. The 1,90,000 square foot facility will house more than 3,500 employees working in technology, data, operations and customer success, operating in a hybrid model.

    India is already a key base for S&P Global, with over 16,000 employees across the country. The new hub reinforces India’s importance in the company’s global strategy and highlights its role as a centre for talent and innovation.

    The Gurugram office has been designed to support productivity and wellbeing, with modern amenities such as wellness spaces, creative zones, and sustainable features. It also includes advanced technology infrastructure to enable collaboration and efficiency.

    This expansion reflects S&P Global’s focus on job creation and skill development in India. By investing in large-scale facilities and workforce growth, the company is contributing to local employment while strengthening its global capabilities. The hub will also serve as a platform for cross-divisional collaboration, with leaders from multiple business units involved in its launch.

    The move underscores S&P Global’s commitment to India as a strategic hub for essential intelligence and data-driven solutions. With thousands of new roles being supported in Gurugram, the company is not only expanding its footprint but also creating opportunities for professionals across diverse functions.

    According to Nilam Patel, managing director, India, S&P Global, the new office “exemplifies our people forward approach. By harmonising cutting-edge technology with human-centred design, we are empowering our colleagues to do their best work while championing their overall wellbeing. This is more than an office; it’s a destination designed to foster connection, creativity, and community.”
