Logistics startup Bharat Supply has announced a major expansion across central India, with plans to open 40 new distribution centres in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and neighbouring states. This move is expected to generate over 500 jobs for local youth, offering opportunities in delivery, warehouse management, operations, and partner support. Recruitment has already begun and will scale further as the network grows.

The new centres will serve towns such as Shahdol, Balaghat, Neemuch, Unnao, Jhansi and Prayagraj, along with surrounding rural clusters. Each hub will act as a daily supply point, ensuring small retailers, agri-input dealers, and rural entrepreneurs receive timely deliveries. By breaking down bulk shipments into retailer-ready orders, managing local inventory, and coordinating delivery teams, these centres will improve access to essential goods and reduce supply gaps in underserved regions.

This expansion supports the government’s Viksit Bharat vision, which emphasises infrastructure-led growth and stronger logistics connectivity. With rising investment in multimodal transport and rural supply chain digitisation, Bharat Supply’s initiative is positioned as a key enabler of inclusive economic growth beyond metro cities.

Taranbir Singh, CEO, Bharat Supply, highlighted that central India remains a dynamic consumption corridor where supply fragmentation has limited growth potential. By building a technology-enabled distribution network, Bharat Supply aims to strengthen grassroots commerce while creating meaningful employment.

The company’s broader strategy focuses on scalable logistics infrastructure across small towns and rural districts, helping local markets thrive and supporting India’s wider growth ambitions.
