Capgemini, the French information technology (IT) company, is hiring people across India, for its offices in Noida, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru and Kolkata. It is enticing them with work-from-home opportunities.
The Company is looking for talent in the areas of telecommunication, manufacturing, consumer goods and retail, consulting, financial services, strategy and transformation, as well as media and entertainment.
The roles on offer are permanent positions and there are suitable jobs for candidates with as little a year’s experience and also those with up to 15 years of experience.
The Company is also looking for entry-level graduates in Kolkata, for contract management associate positions.
Capgemini boasts of a diverse workforce comprising people who are driven by the way technology can be used to reimagine the world. The 3.4 lakh strong workforce is spread across about 50 countries.
Last month reports in the media said that despite handing over the letter of intent or LoI many selected candidates were still waiting to be onboarded at Capgemini. Based on these letters of intent, many candidates had reportedly rejected other offers from other IT companies. Some of the waiting candidates received their LoI in December last year.
This delay in onboarding may be attributed to present conditions wherein the IT space, in general, is facing a strain. Hiring, overall, has been slow.
