The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) is looking for young professionals to fill various vacancies in its department. About 35 candidates will be recruited on contract, for a year. This contract can be extended to up to three years only, depending on the performance of the candidates, which will be reviewed at the end of the year.
The selected candidates will be required to work with the Ministry as well as its media units.

Only those possessing a master’s degree or diploma may apply. However, candidates holding a master’s degree in journalism, mass communication, visual communication, information arts, business administration, animation & designing, literature or creative writing will be preferred.
Experience of at least a year in the field of communication, designing, marketing, e-commerce, animation, editing and book publishing will be given preference.
A fixed salary of Rs 50,000 per month, that is, Rs 6 lakh a year, will be offered to the selected candidates. This includes all applicable taxes. No dearness allowance, house rent allowance, CGHS, medical reimbursement, or any other additional allowances are offered.
The selected candidates will undergo a three-day induction cum training programme.
