This position is the first point of contact for employees and managers on all questions related to HR policies and programs. This position will also focus on efficiently supporting various other HR activities including compliance. This position requires the incumbent to work in various shifts as per business needs.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:-
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service through phone calls, chat messages and online request forms
- Answer questions on Colgate’s HR policies, programs and systems in a professional and efficient manner
- Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy and data protection policies and regulations
- Document all relevant notes on inquiries and resolution actions in case management system
- Handling of various HR Operational activities as and when required for countries in the APAC region related to :
- New hire, on-boarding
- Employee data management
- Pre-payroll/payroll processing
- Local employee programs
- Employee benefit administration
- Letter issuance
- HR related POs
- Termination etc.
- Responsible for all Statutory compliance with respect to labor law, for India :
- Ensure statutory compliance by coordinating with Consultants & respective Business Partners [involves tracking the compliance register, ensuring the required forms are submitted on time, following up and ensuring Issuance of required Certificates etc.]
- Coordination with internal department Account / Finance, Payroll, Legal and Admin for compliance of various statutory Return and Renewal and amendment.
- Handling Inspection for closure of statutory returns related to P.Tax, P.F. – Involves dealing & coordinating with enforcement officers during their visits.
- Conducting monthly audits for the 3P vendors and ensuring they are compliant on all parameters.
- Responsible for identifying continuous improvement opportunities and making recommendations in the design/ re-design of programs/ processes and practices
Education/ Experience Requirements:-
- Full time graduates with 3-4 years of experience
- Post graduate in labor law or similar certification in labor law (preferred)
- 2 years of experience in handling India payroll/pre-payroll related administration (mandatory)
- 2 years of experience in handling India compliance related activities (preferred)
- 1 year of experience in HR Shared Service center (preferred)
- Experience in various shared services technology platforms (ServiceNow, SuccessFactors, SAP, Salesforce, Workday etc..is preferred)
