The SAAS-based online tool can help HR professionals streamline and manage the talent acquisition process.

GrownOut, an online referral hiring technology company, is ready to launch a SAAS-based online tool named ‘GrownOut’, which will help HR personnel across varied industries, to streamline and manage the talent acquisition process.

The company claims that this will be a unique and first-of-its-kind referral hiring technology solution.

How it works
Once the HR or hiring manager of a firm posts a job vacancy, the tool taps into the existing employees’ social and professional connections all over the Internet and also analyses various other information available in the public domain, to shortlist the potential candidates who are best suited for that particular job. This promises to brings forth a very rich data of professional connections.

The tool claims to ease the recruitment and selection process, as it shortlists candidates automatically, based on the job description fed into the software. The shortlisted candidates are then contacted via employees to whom they are connected and are then called in directly for the interview process.

A company spokesperson says, “Referral hiring has the largest share in quality hires and it often triumphs over other modes of hiring. However, in actuality, this particular process is still considered as a secondary choice for hiring of candidates. Such an attitude can be attributed to the increased dependency on employee action and HR’s limited control over the entire process.”

Speaking of GrownOut, the spokesperson says, “Unlike the traditional referral hiring procedure, employees do not need to go through the rigorous task of understanding the job description, searching in their networks and social circles and sharing communications across multiple platforms in order to reach out to the right candidate. He/she is rewarded purely for the people he is familiar with or connected to.”
