Wisdom Jobs has launched pragnyameter.com, a candidate assessment website to assist recruiters in hiring the right candidates in the fastest and most efficient manner possible.

Powered by Wisdom’s proprietary candidate testing and rating tool, Pragnya Meter, the website promises to reduce the time, effort and cost involved in screening thousands of applicants and filtering the best into the personal interview round.

It will allow recruiters to create and customise assessments for over 6,000 skill sets and send them to scores of applicants at the same time via e-mail.

The Pragnya Meter is a cloud-based platform capable of handling pre-assessment tests in huge volumes.

It boasts of a database of around 5 crore questions on IT and non-IT skills. Its suite of online assessments includes core skill tests, language skill tests, aptitude tests, psychometric tests and programming skill tests.

It offers the option of various question patterns like multiple-choice, descriptive, fill-in-the blanks, analytical and coding questions. Recruiters are given the flexibility of choosing from predefined tests and creating and uploading their own. They can also conduct multiple skill assessments in a single test to gauge the candidate holistically.

The Pragnya Meter has a highly secure testing and monitoring mechanism in place. Employers can keep an eye on all the current examinees through live screen monitoring.

The website also claims to have features, such as webcam recording, screen locking, IP blocking and restricting, which enable recruiters to ensure integrity of testing.

In addition, organisations will be able to resend the same tests or customise them for a new set of candidates.
