American tech company, Calsoft Inc. has announced its plans to hire a total of 1,000 engineers over the next quarter. These hires will be joining the Company’s offices in Pune and Bengaluru and its headquarters at San Jose.
Plans have also been unveiled to launch Calsoft’s first new development centre in Kolkata, for which the Company plans to put together a workforce of 250 employees.
As the Company operates in multiple tech domains, more positions and roles will be added across engineering functions. Specialists, generalists, and cross-disciplinary expertise among others are what the Company is looking out for.
The Kolkata centre, as well as the subsequent centres to be established in the country will include operations in digital technologies such as data analytics, cloud computing and cybersecurity. Already about 100 positions have been filled from tier-1 engineering colleges.
Calsoft has partnered with independent software vendors (ISVs) and product companies in various growth stages to further its presence in the country.
Rakhi Sinha, vice president, human resources revealed that Calsoft this hiring exercise will see them exploring “all possible ways to find and bring the talents we need on board. It is time for Calsoft to grow further, and this exercise will mark another milestone in Calsoft’s growth journey!”
