    Advance salary and bonus for employees ahead of festival

    While Assam government staff will get their September salaries in advance, the staff of Singareni Collieries will get a bonus of Rs 1,95,610 .

    To enable Assam government employees to celebrate Durga Puja well, the state government will be releasing their September salaries in advance. An announcement to this effect was made by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma yesterday, 22 September 2025.

    Employees will receive their pay starting today instead of 1 October 2025. The state treasury will also start accepting salary bills from today to ensure the smooth processing of the payment.

    Ahead of Dasara, the state government has announced a bonus of Rs 1,95,610 for the regular employees of Singareni Collieries Company (SCCL).

    Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday announced that 34 per cent of the profits made by the company will be paid to the employees and workers as bonus, including those who are working on contract basis.

    Meanwhile, down south, the Telangana state government has released a bonus of Rs 1,95,610 for the regular staff members of Singareni Collieries Company (SCCL).

    An announcement to this effect was made by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka . The company will be paying 34 per cent of the profits earned to the employees and workers as bonus.

    It is reported that SCCL made profits to the tune of Rs 6,394 crore post payment of tax in 2024–25. Out of this, Rs 819 crore will be paid out in the form of bonus to the employees and workers with each individual receiving Rs 1,95,610. The contract workers will get Rs 5,500 as bonus.
