Flyhomes, a Seattle-based end-to-end real-estate brokerage and tech company is gearing to double its employee base in India in 2022. The creator of home-buying and selling experiences already has a 300-strong team in place in India alone, and over 850 worldwide.

Tushar Garg, CEO & co-founder, Flyhomes reveals how “despite the uncertainties presented by the pandemic, we have experienced substantial growth in the past two years and are committed to widening our existing pool of talent”.

Garg hopes “to onboard individuals across levels, who share the Company’s vision and can catalyse its growth and expansion in the near future”.

‘People, not properties’ is one of the core values of this customer-centric organisation, which, according to Garg, “means we are committed to offering the best to our customers as well as team members.”

Following the Series-C round of funding in June last year, the Company has nearly tripled its global workforce. The organisation is currently looking for talent in engineering, analytics, operations, finance, and human resources.

Gaganpreet Luthra, managing director, Flyhomes India Operations, admits “India’s engineering and operations talent has been critical to building Flyhomes and played a significant role in its growth so far”.

The firm is also looking for growth-hackers and problem-solvers who hold themselves and their teams accountable to deliver functional excellence. The Company’s “focus is on building the right culture in India to deliver high-performance output for the company.”

The new entrants or ‘Flyhomies’ are assured of a smooth remote onboarding experience. They undergo a three-day orientation session called ‘Flight school’. As part of this session, they learn about the Company’s foundation narrative, products, and beliefs, and also spend quality time with the Company’s leaders to gain from their corporate expertise.

The remote-first firm allows all of its employees to choose whether they want to work completely remotely or in a hybrid model, that is, come in to work from the physical office a few days a week.

Founded by Tushar Garg and Stephen Lane, Flyhomes has so far helped over 3,000 families close on more than $3.6 billion worth of homes, at prices ranging from $150,000 to $7 Million.
