There are 950 vacancies at the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for assistants across its various offices in India. Graduates in any discipline with at least 50 per cent marks, between the ages of 20 and 28 may apply.
Candidates will have to undertake a preliminary exam, followed by a main exam and then a language proficiency test. The online written examination will be conducted on 26 and 27 March, 2022, while the last date for applying is March 8.
Selected candidates will be entitled to a monthly salary of Rs 36,000. Those interested may apply via the official website of RBI and follow the instructions given therein.
Meanwhile, a recruitment notification has been issued by the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying for the post of assistant commissioner (dairy development). Those selected may earn up a package of upto Rs 2 lakhs plus.
Applications are already being accepted via offline mode only.
Candidates must have a four-year degree in dairy science or technology from a recognised university or institute, as well as five years’ experience as a technical officer, dairy technologist, assistant production manager, or production manager in a dairy plant, or as a deputy manager or manager in a milk federation or union.
The maximum age limit for deputation appointments is 56 years.
The Indira Gandhi National Open University’s (IGNOU) School of Interdisciplinary and Trans-disciplinary Studies (SOITS) is looking for consultants in the discipline of philosophy.
The salary will be up to Rs 60,000.
The appointment will at first be a temporary or contractual one for a period of six months and may be extended later.
The advertisement was issued on February 3 and applications will be accepted up to 21 days from this date.
A master’s degree in philosophy with 55 per cent marks is a must for general category candidates, whereas for those in the reserved category, and those who are NET qualified or PhD, it is 50 per cent marks.
Experience in Open and Distance Learning (ODL), basic knowledge of computers and knowledge of English & Hindi are desired. Salary package will be in the range of Rs 40,000 to Rs 60,000.
