By end of 2022, Mphasis hopes to hire 300 people for its new delivery centre at Calgary, Alberta in Canada. The IT services major that offers cloud services and secure communications support, aims to create 1,000 technology jobs in the region by 2024.

The Company, which already has a 37,000-strong global workforce, had revealed its plans to invest in Calgary in 2021 and help it make a technology hub, in collaboration with the local government and the University of Calgary.

With offices in Costa Rica, Taiwan, New York, Mexico and Bangalore, Mphasis, claims to have earned revenues to the tune of $1.6 billion in FY2022.

In India, Mphasis recently hired 16 students from the RVS College of Engineering and Technology (RVSCET), Jamshedpur, to work as associate software engineers. It has been on the lookout for quality freshers since March 2022.

In May 2022, the IT solutions company that focusses on cloud and cognitive services, had revealed its intentions to hire about 600 people in Mexico, over a year’s time. It wished to recruit talent in the areas of application development, support (end user and help desk) and infrastructure management (including telecoms and networking).

In Mexico, Mphasis is committed to the ‘hybrid first’ approach, with employees being encouraged to work from anywhere but collaborate in the office.

While this flexibility is a key differentiator at the time of hiring, it also ensures that employees are offered a flexible work environment, where they are satisfied and productive.
