    Parimal Galvankar appointed India HR head, CBRE

    CBRE South Asia, the Indian real-estate consulting firm, has appointed Parimal Galvankar as head – HR, for India.

    Galvankar will be responsible for CBRE’s pan India HR activities, including talent acquisition/recruitment, training and development, performance management, organisation development, diversity, and compensation and benefits, for its 10,000-strong workforce across 10 offices in India.

    Before joining CBRE, Galvankar was heading the HR function at Syngenta AG. He handled the HR for the India business, the APAC Shared Services Centre as well as the global Chemical Research Lab at Goa for this Swiss multination company, dealing in agrochemicals and seeds.

    According to Anshuman Magazine, chairman & CEO, India, South East Asia, Middle East & Africa, CBRE, the Company will rely on Galvankar’s ability to create and implement collaborative processes, and improve both employee experiences and business outcomes to drive forward CBRE’s growth in the country.

    Galvankar himself is all geared up to “develop and implement a forward-looking HR strategy” capable of supporting CBRE’s business and maximising its diversity.

    Backed by over 22 years of experience across the IT, agrochemical and automotive sectors, Galvankar brings to the table wide domain knowledge, focus on client outcomes and broad operational experience.

    He has worked in learning & development, recruitment/talent acquisition, organisation development, compensation and HRBP functions, within India and across the Asia Pacific.

    A gold medallist in personnel management, industrial relations and HRD from Mumbai University, Galvankar has also completed a two-year stint at IBM, in New York, US.

    He holds a PGCBM from XLRI, Jamshedpur along with SPHR and GPHR certifications from HRCI, US.
