    Prove yourself to ‘Be an HR Wiz’

    NHRD Bangalore Chapter has organised an inter-corporate quiz, a unique and fun platform to encourage learning and sharing.

    Learning agility—learning fast, adapting, and being open-minded—has always been the focus for professionals. In these days of fast-paced change, we have to look for every opportunity to learn and stay relevant. There are various forms of learning, be it on-the-job or classroom training or learning from each other. Some of them take time, and at times are dreary.

    To encourage learning and sharing, NHRD Bangalore Chapter presents a unique and fun platform, in the form of HR Wiz, an inter-corporate HR quiz. Here, corporate professionals can come together, compete in a war of wits and in the process learn through exploration and sharing. Not only will this unique concept facilitate learning about HR through a quiz, but also offer opportunities to win exciting prizes!

    Krish Shankar, president of NHRD Bangalore Chapter (and group head-HR, Infosys) states that NHRD has always been committed to development of HR professionals. “HR Wiz is going to be a ‘battle of intellect’, but more importantly, it will be lots of learning and loads of excitement and fun. I am looking forward to multiple teams from many companies to participate in this,” he says.

    Quizzing has been historically restricted to current affairs, business and so on. Why not raise awareness about HR and enhance its brand equity and visibility amongst people? “That’s how the idea of an inter-corporate HR quiz sprung up, and hence, it is open for all working professionals (HR and non-HR),” explains Nikita Doshi, member of Young Advisory Board (and senior associate L&D, Sapient).

    HR Wiz has three stages –

    Stage 1 – Online quiz round (May 28 to 30)

    Stage 2 – Offline prelims in Bangalore (June 9) – Top 50 teams qualify for this stage

    Stage 3 – Grand finale in Bangalore (June 9) – Top eight teams qualify for the finale

    Chayanika Grover, member of Young Advisory Board, NHRD (and senior lead – OD at Infosys) shares, “Not only would this give you an opportunity to meet HR Wizards of multiple industries, it would definitely aid in bringing out the best in you.”

    There are exciting cash prizes for winners and an opportunity to get featured in HR Katha and NHRD websites.

    Winning Team – INR 50,000

    1st Runners Up – INR 30,000

    2nd Runners Up – INR 20,000

    The HR Wiz grand finale in Bangalore on June 9 will be a specially curated event of wit by quizzers, wisdom by leaders and humour through a corporate & HR stand-up comedy.

    David Rasquinha, chairman & MD of Exim Bank would deliver a special keynote address on ‘India’s competitiveness in the global economy and what we can do to improve it’.
