Samunnati, the Chennai-headquartered Indian agri enterprise and agri-value chain enabler, is gearing to strengthen leadership and talent in 2022.
In alignment with the Company’s plan to double down on its offerings across the agri value chain, Samunnati is working to expand its team, which is already 611-strong, by 20 per cent this year. Women already represent 25 per cent of the Samunnati workforce, and about 100 positions are waiting to be filled across functions.

Over the last year and a half, Samunnati has been growing rapidly. It recently unlocked a 10,000 crores gross transactional value mark across its agri commerce and agri finance business. Samunnati’s agri commerce and agri finance solutions enable affiliated farmer collectives and the larger ecosystem to be more efficient and productive through multiple technology-enabled interventions and collaborative partnerships.
Samunnati, which has a presence in over 100 agri value chains across 22 Indian states, has been strengthening its leadership with strategic hiring over the last one year. Lalit Malik has joined Samunnati as group revenue head, Raghavan HKN, has joined as head- farmer collectives, Sriram Raghavendran has joined as head – innovations, Raghavan Sampathkumar has joined as head -policy advocacy and external affairs, Prerana Desai has joined as head of research and Suresh Venkatesan has taken on the role of group head – systems & processes
