Tata Technologies will take on about 1,000 more people in its team in the financial year 2023. Earlier this year, in January, the engineering and design services company had revealed its intentions to hire more than 3,000 innovators in a year’s time. However, it looks like the Company has been rather successful in building the capacity and capability required to meet the clients’ needs. It was able to take on more than 1,500 people in the third quarter of this fiscal itself, which is proof of the fact that the Company does not lack opportunities. Therefore, the figure of 3,000 looks insufficient now.
As planned, this subsidiary of the Tata Group will expand its teams in all the major markets of the world, as well as in India, in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Maharashtra.
The tilt towards autonomous, connected, electrification, and sharing (ACES) mobility and faster investment in digital has worked in favour of Tata Technologies, which posted the best-ever quarterly performance in the quarter ended December 31, 2021. Its operational revenue was a whopping Rs 1,034.1 crore and profit before tax was Rs 201.2 crore!
Another significant achievement for Tata Technologies has been its empanelment by Airbus in their engineering, manufacturing engineering and services strategic supplier programme. This is expected to accelerate the Company’s growth in aerospace.
