Digital technology provider, UST today announced that it is going to hire 7000 techies for its Bengaluru and Hyderabad centres. The decision was prompted because of the increase in demand from its clients.

UST aims to double its workforce, from 6000 to 12000 by 2023. It successfully hired 2000 employees in February 2021, as part of its endeavor to expand the overall reach in India.

In an official statement, the Company stated that it plans to hire “freshers (entry-level engineering graduates) and experienced engineers for various roles focusing on products and services for healthcare, technology, logistics, semiconductors, and banking and financial services and insurance(BFSI) clients.”

UST’s Hyderabad centre has a 1000-strong workforce, which it aims to double in the near future.

Alexander Varghese, chief operating officer and country head, India, UST, commented that the company is keen on hiring the top talents in the country, and he is confident that the hiring drive will lead to more job opportunities in Bengaluru.

UST has 35 offices in 25 countries, with Bengaluru being its second largest centre globally. It also has centres in Ahmedabad, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Pune, Coimbatore, Hosur and Delhi-NCR. Earlier this year, UTS had announced its plans to hire 10,000 new employees across the globe possessing critical skills in digital transformation, cyber security, cloud infrastructure, Java, data science and engineering, application development and modernisation, artificial intelligence, machine learning, as well as automation (RPA/IPA).
