The natural resources conglomerate has also set up community vaccination camps for children in the 15 to 18 age group in Mumbai and Delhi, where COVID cases are surging. The Company will also make booster shots available for the elderly and frontline workers.

Additionally, the ‘Swasth Gaon Abhiyaan’ under the Anil Agarwal Foundation (AAF) provides end-to-end healthcare services to 1000 villages across 12 states.

The latest vaccination drive is a step towards ensuring the health, safety and well-being of Vedanta’s staff and their families, as well as the community in general.

The initiative has been launched under the aegis of the Anil Agarwal Foundation. The Group has already administered around 1.5 lakh doses throughout the pandemic. This time round, the Group is looking at administering at least two lakh more vaccine doses.
