Zaggle, a SaaS fintech company and a pioneer in digitising business spends has announced a 12 week-long fitness challenge for its employees to promote the wellbeing of its workforce.

The challenge began from 21 November, 2022 and aims to promote a healthy lifestyle amongst employees. Additionally, for every active participant, the platform will offer exciting cash prizes and rewards.

The rewards fall under two categories. First is the ‘Fittest Zaggler Wins’ category, where the top five winners will be selected based on fitness assessment through various contests. The second category is called the ‘Biggest Loser Wins’, and will see the top five employees being selected based on their progress in terms of healthy weight loss. Their progress will be checked through weight & BMI check-ups. The winners will be receiving cash rewards.

Latha Iyer, chief human resources officer, reiterated that Zaggle believes “in encouraging a balanced work environment”. According to her, “A fit body and mind are crucial to create a productive work atmosphere and further boost morale. Our employees’ well-being is a priority and we are happy to have received participation in huge numbers. The programme promotes an essential balance between wellness and productivity while encouraging healthy competition.”

Employee wellbeing has always been a priority for Zaggle, and recent examples of important employee-focused initiatives include the Covid bonus, festive celebrations and financial wellness seminars. The firm intends to increase its current employees after seeing spectacular development in the $1 trillion potential Indian spend-management industry.
