Software engineering company, Alumnus Software, has appointed Vishal Verma as the head of human resources. He will be leading the strategic HR function at the firm with responsibilities, such as talent management, talent development and campus recruitment. Verma comes with close to 15 years of experience in HR. Prior to this appointment, he was the senior manager – HR at the Techno Electric and Engineering Company, where he was leading the HR operations for the Company in India.
After postgraduating in business entrepreneurship and personnel administration from the Indian School of Business and Economy, Verma started his career as an assistant manager at Times Press, in 2004. In this role, he was taking care of the manpower management and recruitment at the firm.
In 2008, Verma moved to SRP Enviro Systems as an HR manager. In this role, Verma was directly reporting to the CEO and handling the entire HR gamut at the company for all India operations. After working with SRP for close to two years, Verma moved to Jai Balaji Group in 2012, as the functional head – HR and lead their HR function for two years.
In 2014, Verma, who is a graduate and a postgraduate in botany too, joined Environ Solar as the senior manager – HR, where he was responsible for leading their HR function. He worked with Environ Solar for a little more than a year.
Verma has an experience of working in different sectors, such as manufacturing, printing and designing, as well as solar-panel manufacturing.
