    Arun Mirchandani starts new position at Citibank as HR head

    Arun Mirchandani begins a new position as head of HR, markets and securities services business, APAC, ex-Japan, Citibank.

    Mirchandani is an experienced HR professional with a history of working in the financial services industry. He is skilled in human resources management, talent and leadership development, compensation planning and recruitment. He is also a seasoned HR advisor in different geographies, and is an expert in managing diverse talent.

    Having been associated with Citibank for over nine years, Mirchandani joined the Company as a campus relationship manager in July 2010. He was responsible for recruitment across the business, facilitating onboarding for crucial talent and delivering the associate hiring requirements from the best available talent across tier-1 campuses, both national and international.

    Prior to working at Citibank, he spent two years working at HSBC, serving as associate VP of human resources. His responsibilities included serving as the HR Generalist for the trade services business, the private banking business and the payments and cash-management business.

    He began his career as a senior consultant with EmmayHR, and then moved to Tata AIG Life Insurance, where he served as an executive human resources professional, before shifting to HSBC.

    A commerce graduate from MMK College of Commerce and Economics, Mirchandani has  post-graduate degree from TISS, Mumbai, in human resource management and labour relations.
