Dahiya was the former senior VP & group head (performance, reward & organisation development) at Reliance Industries.
Ashwani Dahiya, who recently resigned from his position as the senior VP & group head (performance, reward & organisation development) at Reliance Industries Limited, has joined the global pharmaceutical major, Cipla, as the chief talent officer today, according to sources close to the development.
It’s today, September 22, when he takes over his new role.
“He brings with him vast expertise in talent management and a rich pedigree of experience across functions in HR and will prove to be a great asset to the company,” the source said.
A graduate from XLRI, Dahiya began his career as a human resource manager at General Mills in 1996. With over 20 years of experience across industries, Dahiya is known for innovation, creation of high-performance teams, impactful shareholder outcomes and employee advocacy.
He has earlier worked with American Express as the vice president-HR, Japan, Asia Pacific and Australia for Total Rewards & HR Analytics. He was also on the global advisory board of WorldatWork.
Dahiya joins Cipla in place of Vikram Bector, who was the former chief talent officer and head- corporate HR. Bector left Cipla to join the Piramal Group as the group chief human resources officer this July.
