    Bhrigu Joshi to join SAP as director HR

    Bhrigu Joshi, director-HR, Make My Trip, will be joining SAP, an HR tech solutions company, as director-HR. At Make My Trip, Joshi heads the talent acquisition and HRBP for the tech, product and design functions. He is also responsible for leading the performance management agenda for the entire group.

    Sharing his experience at Make My Trip, Joshi says, “It was such a privilege to work with an organisation like Makemytrip! I was fortunate having got the opportunity to learn from Yuvaraj Srivastava (Group CHRO, Makemytrip) and other amazing leaders like him. I wish this beautiful company grow leaps and bounds.”

    Joshi has an engineering background. After completing his BTech in power engineering from the National Power Institute, he joined Thermax, an engineering company, which provides solutions in the power and environment space. He was an executive in the project- management group and was part of the key plant projects. He worked there for close to two years.

    With the intention of giving his career a new direction, he decided to complete his MA in HRM and labour management, and then joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as an intern.

    Joshi then went on to join KPMG, India, where he rose to the level of manager HR consulting. There, he handled key accounts and had clear sales targets mapped to his role.

    After spending four years at KPMG, he joined HSBC as the VP- talent management and strategic resourcing, for a short stint of eight months. He moved on to Make My Trip in 2015.

    Joshi is a keen writer and is interested in teaching. He writes articles on leadership behaviour transformation, post-merger integration and creating an optimised organisation. He is also a visiting faculty at TISS and a certified practitioner of psychometric tools, such as DISC (Thomas International) and PAPI (Cubiks).

    Joshi concludes by, “SAP would be a great place to work for. I look forward to joining the company as a student of its amazing culture!”
