Biocon Biologics, a subsidiary of Biocon, has hired Naveen Narayanan as CHRO. The Company announced the appointment via a social-media post. Narayanan comes with more than two decades of experience in HR and has worked across sectors in various HR roles, in leadership positions. Prior to this, Narayanan was leading the human capital consulting and transformation function at entomo (formerly KPISOFT), which is an AI-based continuous-performance platform for enterprises. At entomo, Narayanan was delivering HR consulting and transformation to large conglomerates in Asia.

He is also recognised as a thought leader across human-capital domains, as varied as global talent management, digital thinking, workplace diversity and international development. After completing a post graduate diploma in HRM and personnel administration in hospitality management from the Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai, Narayanan Joined ITC Hotels as training development executive, nurturing talent at the company. He also worked with Oberoi Hotels & Resorts for two years as a training manager. After spending time the initial phase of his career in the hospitality industry, Narayanan moved to Oman United, a retail solutions company in Oman, and took charge as its CHRO. His next stop was AI-Futtaim where he joined as CHRO after spending close to three years with Oman United.
In 2003, Narayanan joined Standard Charted Bank as global function lead for the HR shared services, as part of the startup team creating HR shared services, globally. He then moved on to join Accenture and during his six-year tenure there, Narayanan served in various leadership positions, managing more than 8000 employees for the Company. He also spent three years with HCL, as global head of talent management.
In 2017, he joined Publicis Sapient as VP-talent & planning, for APAC region, and lead various change programmes to build the employer brand and competency.
Narayanan has also completed an executive MBA in strategic management, from IIM Calcutta.
