The former CHRO at Aakash Byju’s edutech services has now joined GoKwik, a platform which helps e-commerce business to ensure a smooth experience, right from placing to delivery of orders. It uses AI-enabled technologies to solve complex problems in the e-commerce sector. In her new role, Gogia will lead the HR function at the firm.
Gogia is a senior HR leader with over 18 years of experience in sectors such as online payment solutions, insurance and media.
Prior to this role, Gogia was the CHRO at Aakash Byju’s where she helped the Company frame HR policies from scratch and guide senior leadership teams to create a culture, where top talent can be attracted and retained. She also played a crucial role in the merger process of Aakash and Byju’s.
In her initial six years, Gogia spent time with companies such as SPM businesses, Logis Consultus and People Interactive in various HR roles, including recruiter and associate. This was the phase where she honed her skills as an HR professional before joining SVG Media, an Indian digital media network, as director HR, in 2010.
It was in 2014, that she got the opportunity to work with PayU as the vice president and head of HR. PayU is a well-established brand in the online payment solutions business working under its parent company, Nasper. At PayU, Gogia played key roles in the areas of organisational design, culture, employee relations and communication, talent acquisition, as well as training and coaching. She worked with PayU for almost five and a half years. In 2019, she moved to PolicyBazaar.com as head of HR, where she managed a workforce of over 7000 people.
Gogia completed her MBA in HR from Madurai Kamaraj University.
