    Kaushik Chakaraborty joins Savills as head-HR

    Kaushik Chakraborty, a senior HR and learning & development professional with over 16 years of experience across industries and functional areas, has joined Savills, the real-estate company as head-HR. He will help establish Savill’s India operations and contribute to the Company’s attempt to create one of the greatest places to work in the industry.

    With human resources, leadership development, change management, talent management and executive coaching amongst his specialties, Chakraborty has worked with reputed organisations, such as RBS, Max New York Life, ICICI Prudential and Blue Dart. He has led strategic HR initiatives, and also driven OD, learning and talent initiatives.

    He worked with Jones Lang LaSalle as the director-HR and head-learning and development and CSR for over five years before being promoted to senior director-HR and CSR.

    Having been involved in the Toastmasters Movement in India as a division governor, Chakraborty helped people improve their communication and leadership skills and find the courage to change.

    He speaks extensively at HR and management forums in India as well as abroad. He has been keynote and motivational speaker at conferences and events, and has also been invited to speak at five TEDx talks in the country.

    Named as one of the Top 10 Thinkers in India by MTC Global in 2014, Chakraborty is a traveller and trekker, with special interest in the Himalayas.

    An active volunteer with Art of Living, he holds a Licentiate degree in human resource development from the Asian HR Board. He is also a graduate in life skills on transformation from Landmark Education.
