Perfios, a B2B SaaS fintech company in India, has roped in Anu Mathew as its new chief people officer (CPO). The appointment comes as a part of the company’s strategic move in preparation for an IPO listing in the next 18-24 months. The firm is also looking at expanding globally.
Mathew brings over two decades of experience in human resources, with a proven track record of making small companies grow and also working for big companies around the world. She excels at forming global teams and collaborating with founders and leaders to establish thriving and enduring companies with a positive team culture.
Prior to joining Perfios, she has worked with many other brands including Pine Labs, QwikCilver, HCL and GE.
Mathew expressed her enthusiasm on joining Perfios as it enters the next phase of growth. She highlighted Perfios’ culture of teamwork and creativity, which makes the work environment enjoyable for its employees. The company also announced the appointment of Sumit Nigam as its chief technology officer (CTO). Nigam assumed the role of CTO in July and has over two decades of experience in tech leadership.
In the new role, he will help Perfios improve its software products as it grows globally and will work closely with the CEO to plan how the company uses technology. Debashish Chakraborty, co-founder, Perfios, who has also served as the CTO for 15 years, will guide and advise Nigam on major tech projects at the company.
Prior to joining Perfios, Nigam has worked with big names such as Big Basket, Walmart Global Tech, Informatics and Dell EMC.
