    Rohit Kumar appointed CHRO, EuroKids International

    EuroKids International, the Indian early education and K12 company has announced the appointment of Rohit Kumar as its new chief human resource officer (CHRO). With 24 years of HR experience across diverse industries, such as FMCG, pharma and telecom, Kumar brings to the table extensive expertise across the HR spectrum, including end-to-end HR strategy development, driving organisational matrices, talent management and culture transformation journeys.

    Kumar has moved from Kellogg India, where he was heading the HR function. Before joining Kellogg India in 2017, Kumar was director- business HR, pharma and consumer healthcare at Sanofi for almost two and a half years.

    The longest stint of his career was with Vodafone, where he spent over 11 years. He joined Vodafone as head-HR, Rajasthan in 2002 and climbed up the ranks to become the AVP, human resources (HRBP – technology), by September 2011.

    Having begun his career as assistant manager – HR, Apollo Tyres, in 1996, this management graduate from BSSS College, Bhopal, has also worked at Gillette as manager – HR for over four years before shifting to the telecom sector.

    Kumar holds completed his management in human resources from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, in 1996. He has worked across geographies and diverse cultures, including India, South Asia and the UK.

    Prajodh Rajan, co-founder and group CEO, EuroKids International, is confident that Kumar’s “diverse industry experience and belief will help us structure and power our long-term growth plans” and that EuroKids will “greatly benefit from his extensive knowledge of business partnership and functional HR roles.”

    Kumar himself sees this as a “great opportunity to be part of a fast transforming landscape” and is looking forward to being a part of the Company’s growth journey “at a time when it is at the cusp of a big shift”.
