Astral has appointed Siddharth Jain as head-talent acquisition. Before joining Astral, he served as the senior general manager human resources at Arvind, specifically in the advanced materials division. Starting his journey with Arvind in 2018 as the head of human resources, he dedicated over five years to the company.
With a career spanning over 25 years, Jain is a dedicated and insightful HR professional. His expertise lies in leading efficient human resources functions, crafting HR strategies for mid and large-sized organisations, and having hands-on experience in talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development, organisational culture, employee engagement, HR automation and new initiatives.
In a LinkedIn post, Jain expressed his excitement about his new role at Astral. He thanked the company and its leadership for trusting him with the responsibility and ensuring a seamlessly smooth onboarding process.
During his longest tenure at Adani Ports, where he served as the head of talent acquisition and management for seven years from 2011 to 2018, Jain made significant contributions. Prior to that, he worked with Manpower as the regional head for manufacturing, infrastructure, energy and healthcare practices. Starting his career in 1998 as a business-development professional at Indiacom, Jain later joined Randstad in 2000 as the regional head.
His rich and diverse experience in HR and consulting spans various sectors, including manufacturing, energy, oil and gas, infrastructure, projects, SEZ, pharmaceuticals, technical textiles, chemicals, BPO and telecom. Having successfully met the dynamic talent needs of organizations, Jain’s global expertise is evident in his work with both Indian and multinational companies.
