Utkarsh Tomar has assumed the role of head of human resources at Quince in India. He was previously head of human resources at Demandlane.
With over 10 years of experience in human resources, Tomar has demonstrated expertise in HR business partnering, global mobility, campus and lateral recruitment, employee engagement, talent management and development. His proficiency extends to learning and development, with a notable strength in HR analytics, complemented by prior experience as a software engineer.
Tomar embarked on his career journey as a systems engineer at Infosys in January 2010. Transitioning to IBM, he initially served as a learning and development specialist before progressing to the role of global mobility assistant manager, overseeing policy, operation and delivery. In 2015, he further advanced to the position of HR business partner manager, adding nearly four years to his tenure at IBM.
Following his successful stint at IBM, Tomar joined Flipkart, dedicating two years to the role of senior HR business partner manager. Subsequently, he assumed the position of human resources director at Observe.AI, showcasing his continuous commitment and valuable contributions to the field of human resources.
Tomar announced his new appointment through a LinkedIn post. He holds an MBA degree from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS).
