    Vidya Sagar Gannamani appointed chairman and MD, Adecco Group India

    Adecco Group, the HR solutions company, has announced the appointment of Vidya Sagar Gannamani as its new chairman and managing director.

    This new assignment will see Gannamani leading the workforce solutions business for the Company in India with primary focus on cross-collaboration to enable growth and to deliver on Adecco’s transformational priorities.

    Backed by over 30 years of diverse international experience, that saw him posted at Singapore, Hong Kong and Netherlands, Gannamani specialises in driving cultural, organisational and business transformations across verticals. He is known for his deep understanding of changing consumer trends as well as employee behaviors globally.

    Before moving to this Fortune Global 500 company, Gannamni was a business leader and CHRO at Royal Philips for a significant period, handling its consumer and healthcare businesses. He then became a management consultant and advisor to private equity and consumer

    industries, and also invested in startups.

    Gannamani will be stepping into the shoes of Marco Valsecchi who was earlier the country manager and MD, Adecco Group India.

    As Ian Lee, CEO, Adecco APAC puts it, Gannamani’s “diverse experience in both general management and HR will be instrumental for the Adecco India

    team to scale up for a stellar year ahead.”

    Gannamani admitted to looking forward to “working with the Adecco team to continue building on our momentum to improve the satisfaction of our clients, our associates, and our employees while delivering more value for our stakeholders”.
