    Vishal Mega Mart ropes in Dhruva Dubey as CHRO

    Vishal Mega Mart, an Indian fashion-led hypermarket, has announced the appointment of Dhruva Dubey as its new chief human resources officer (CHRO). Dubey joins the company from Spencer’s Retail, where he was heading HR business partnership and driving overall business objectives for retail operations across India.

    Dubey is a seasoned HR professional with two decades of experience in leadership roles across retail, banking, ITES and internet startups. He has worked with many big companies such as AXIS Bank, HSBC, Dell, Quikr, Cisco Spaces and Spencers.

    His longest stint was with Spencers where he was heading the human resources department as the head-business HR and head-learning and development for over seven years. He joined the company in July 2016 after his stint with Quickr, where he was the vice president-human resources.

    Dubey, through his professional expertise, has partnered with leaders to help companies make changes, improve leadership skills, strengthen their workforce, and create a great environment for employees. He believes that HR has to deliver relevant, measurable and impactful people solutions that propel business growth, build sustainable organisation and attract, develop and retain the best talent.

    An alumnus of XLRI, Jamshedpur, Dubey holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Padmashree Dr D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Maharashtra. His expertise lies in HR business partnership, organisation development, talent acquisition, performance management, talent management, employee engagement, employee relations and industrial relations.
