    JW Marriott celebrates to appreciate employees’ efforts

    The ‘Associate Appreciation Week’ acknowledges Marriot employees as the true essence behind excellent customer service.

    For employees in the hotel industry, life revolves around serving the guests well. JW Marriot’s property in Sahar, Mumbai decided to treat its employees with a celebration.

    The programme called ‘Associate Appreciation Week’ is an annual week-long celebration for associates across Marriott properties, worldwide, acknowledging their effort and contribution towards exceptional customer service.

    The programme was a way to thank the staff for the endless efforts they put into ensuring flawless flow of operations at the Hotel.

    The employees of the Hotel in Sahar, Mumbai, were divided into four teams. Each staff member, right from the general manager to the management teams and associates, participated in this extravaganza.

    A host of exciting activities, such as a soccer tournament, outdoor mini games, an Ad Mad Show and even newspaper dressing were organised.

    Neesha Mohapatra, director, human resources, JW Marriott Hotel, Sahar, says, “The Associate Appreciation Week was full of fun and interactive activities, such as games, dance competitions and fashion shows, which encouraged team work and, in turn, enhanced employee camaraderie and productivity.
