With an aim to increase awareness among employees for wellbeing, HCLTech hosted an employee-wellness programme. The programme was hosted at its Noida campus from 10 Jan. to 12 Jan, 2024.

‘BE WELL’, the three-day programme hosted by the technology company helped employees to explore ways to rejuvenate themselves through various means such as musical concerts, fitness challenges, therapeutic crafts, counselling sessions, guided meditation, aroma therapy, food stalls and more.

The programme was conducted by certified wellness professionals, counsellors, psychiatrists and trained experts in multiple healing disciplines. They guided the employees with various experiential outlooks to physical, psychological and relational wellbeing.

Speaking on the initiative, Ramachandran Sundararajan, chief people officer, HCLTech, shared his enthusiasm and expressed how the company is committed to the wellbeing of its employees. “BE WELL is one of the many interventions by HCLTech to ensure that there is increased awareness on health and wellbeing amongst our employees and their families,” he added.

After receiving such great response from its employees, the BE WELL programme will also be conducted in the company’s other campuses such as Lucknow, Chennai, Vijayawada, Madurai and Nagpur over the coming days.

The tech company, last year, joined hands with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) to bridge the skills gap that exists amongst Indian youth. This partnership was in alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mission to empower the Indian youth with AI and digital knowledge.

The collaboration aimed to transform digital assessments in both tech and non-tech courses for both businesses and individuals. Together, the two entities were to try and create new products and programmes to provide flexibility and scalability to talent.
