Aavinash Yogeshwar has joined Travel Food Services (TFS) as its new chief human resources officer (CHRO), taking charge of the people function at the travel food and beverage and hospitality company.

Yogeshwar brings more than two decades of experience across human capital management, HR business partnering, workforce planning, performance management, total rewards, succession planning and organisational development.

He joins TFS from Mahindra Manulife Mutual Fund, where he served as head – human resources for nearly four years, from October 2022 to September 2026. In this role, he oversaw strategic workforce planning, performance management, total rewards, talent management and succession planning. He was also responsible for HR risk metrics and compliance updates for the board.

Prior to Mahindra Manulife Mutual Fund, Yogeshwar spent more than 16 years with Mahindra Finance, progressing through multiple HR leadership roles. His last role at the company was country group HR head, which he held from October 2018 to September 2022.

During his tenure at Mahindra Finance, Yogeshwar worked closely with business leaders across functions and geographies on workforce planning, manpower productivity, incentive design, performance management and retention. He also led initiatives around performance scorecards, talent identification and business-specific rewards.

Earlier, he served as deputy general manager and senior manager – HR business partner at Mahindra Finance, where his responsibilities included HR partnering across multiple business lines and leading People CMM maturity initiatives. He had previously held regional HR roles covering North and Central India.

Yogeshwar began his HR career in 2003, with early stints at Goyal Cosmetics, Pranav Vikas and Krishna Maruti. His initial experience covered talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, employee communication, rewards and corporate HR.

In his new role at TFS, Yogeshwar will take on the people agenda of a business operating across travel food and beverage and hospitality. TFS operates more than 380 F&B outlets and 27 lounges across 19 cities at major travel hubs in India and internationally.

The move marks another step in Yogeshwar’s career from regional and business-partnering HR roles into enterprise-level people leadership, with his experience spanning workforce strategy, performance, rewards, talent and organisational capability.
