The company’s newly launched ‘Activ@te’ programme aims to train engineering students to be job ready from day one.

Tata Elxsi has conceived a new policy — Catch them young and help them grow. The engineering design company, that blends creativity with technology, has launched a talent incubation programme for engineering students.

Called ‘Activ@te’, the initiative aims to train engineering students to be job ready. The objective is to make them productive from the very first day of their professional career.

The company has tied up with Sree Chitra Thirunal (SCT) College of Engineering as an academic partner for this project. The training will be imparted at state-of-the-art lab facilities provided by Tata Elxsi and SCT, where the chosen talent will be exposed to various industry projects giving them an added advantage in the technology space.

“The programme is expected to build the talent ecosystem at the fresher level and prepare engineering students to have job-relevant technical skills across technology domains” says, Anil Sondur, vice president, Tata Elxsi.

The company believes that a lot of effort and time are needed to make freshers job ready and enhance their skill set. For the service industry, the know-how is important from day one.

Tata Elxsi believes that training them simultaneously with the academic course will not only enhance the productivity of the new hires but also their effectiveness. This will save both time and energy for the company.
