Snehal Gawande, who was formerly heading the compensation and benefit function for ABD’s India operations for a little over two years, has joined Tata Realty. This move is an industry jump for her —from FMCG to real estate.
Gawande comes with 14 years of experience in the HR space of the FMCG sector. Within HR she has managed multiple portfolios —compensation and benefit, performance management, HR operations, HR shared services and HRBP. She hails from Mumbai, where she completed her graduation in economics and postgraduation in economics and human resources.
Before ABD, Gawande was with Diageo for four years. After spending three years at Diageo’s Mumbai office, she got an opportunity for an international stint as head-HR operations and benefits for SEA, based out of Singapore.
Gawande has a versatile portfolio. She had started her career two decades back as part of the market research department of the Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council (SRTEPC). She later shifted to its HR/administration department.
She has also worked with the management as part of the team in the projects associated with the implementation of the Sixth Pay Commission.
