Shiprocket has expanded the mandate of Saumya K, appointing her as the group CHRO and business head at 10XPeople.Ai.
In her enhanced role, she will continue to lead the group HR function while taking on additional responsibility for 10XPeople.Ai, Shiprocket’s AI-native HRMS platform focussed on simplifying and scaling people management. She will now be responsible for the platform’s business, growth and P&L.
Saumya K has been with Shiprocket since 2021 and brings over two decades of experience working closely with founders, CEOs and boards across transformation, hyper-growth, IPO and listed-company environments. Her expertise spans people strategy, technology, enterprise value creation and business leadership.
Saumya’s journey spans over 21 years across diverse sectors. She started her career with Tata Group in 2005 handling performance management and employee engagement till 2007. She then moved to Perfetti Van Melle as talent-acquisition head from 2007 to 2009.
From 2009 to 2013, she served as HRBP at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages in Delhi & West UP. In 2014, she joined Gap as head–learning & organisation development till December 2015.
Her longest stint before Shiprocket was at Yum! Brands, where she was AD–talent, learning & rewards from December 2015 to September 2020 in Gurgaon.
She joined Shiprocket in September 2021 as SVP & head HR till September 2023, was elevated to group chief human resources from October 2023 to June 2026, and now takes charge as group CHRO & business head – 10XPeople.Ai from July 2026.
