Innovaccer, a health cloud company, has appointed Satyajit Menon as its chief of staff. In this role, Menon would be responsible for leading the HR function in India reporting to Ankit Maheshwari, president-R&D & India Operations, Innovaccer. Menon will help the company in designing leading people strategies which will include change, transformation, and growth in people within and across global product, engineering, and delivery teams. Menon will also play a crucial role in enabling digital transformation and innovation at Innovaccer.

Menon has worked with Innovaccer in the past as well. He joined innovaccer back in 2017 and spent more than three years with the firm as its VP-people operations.

As per Menon, when he was previously part of Innovaccer, the focus was on expanding the talent pool which involved taking the head of the company from 100 to 1000. This was pivotal in becoming a Unicorn. But now as Menon joins back, the focus is on growing rapidly in different geographies of the world such as US, UK and UAE. “With effective people strategies, we aim to ensure great opportunities and support people’s careers to continue making an impact in healthcare on our way to becoming a centaur company. I can’t think of a better time to return to Innovaccer,” shares Menon.

Menon carries close to two decades of experience in HR and started his career with GE Capital as an executive HR where he led the employee referral programme for the firm. He spent more than two years with GE. Menon has also worked with brands like Snapdeal, Fidelity International and Lehmon Brothers Services India.

“We’re thrilled to have Satyajit’s immense experience and expertise to help us continue to improve lives. His return is a testament to how our people-focused initiatives are the lynchpin to career and market success at Innovaccer,” says Abhinav Shashank, cofounder & CEO, Innovaccer.

Prior to this role, Menon was with People Strong, an HR tech firm as its chief people officer.
